Position Overview
The Bright Minds STEM Program Director is responsible for leading, planning, executing; a fun, creative, and interactive program for campers in our Bright Minds STEM program. You will lead campers through a series of activities using the manual created by Bright Sparkz Tutors. Campers will complete a series of different STEM related activities daily, with your guidance and help. You will be working alongside one other counsellor each week and will from time to time be assigned a CIT (Counsellor-In-Training). Our Bright Minds STEM alternates weekly sessions between our Oakville and Mississauga location, as the Program Director you will be working at each of the locations throughout the summer, 3-weeks at our Oakville location and 4-weeks at our Mississauga location.

Tag It Bowl It Putt It Program Directors $450-$520/Week
Position Overview
The Tag It Climb It Bowl It (TBP) Program Director will be responsible for the curriculum, development, and execution of Tag It Climb It Bowl It Camp, while providing a fun, safe and exciting environment for all campers. You will work alongside one counsellor each week and will work at both the CCK & King’s locations. There are three offsite trips that take place during the week, you must be comfortable going offsite without a Director to monitor. On Tuesdays the group will go to Epic Laser for 2 rounds of laser tag, Wednesdays to Splitsville for Bowling and Thursdays to Putting Edge for a round of glow in the dark mini putt.

- Monitoring during lunch & snack time, making sure that each child is eating a snack/lunch. If a child does not have a snack or lunch inform the location Site Director so a lunch/snack item can be given to the child.
- Monitoring during water breaks, ensuring that every child is drinking. If a child does not have a water bottle, inform the Site Director so we can get a water bottle to the camper
- Ensuring 2 meters (6’0) distance is kept from all other groups
- Sanitizing campers hands before and after activities
- Ensuring campers are wearing masks while indoors
Programming
- Teach campers about archery, during the allotted archery time
- Following the WAG and ensuring that each activity that is posted on it is being done on the correct day, to avoid camper & parent disappointment.
- Ensuring your weekly program is submitted by 11:00 pm, the Wednesday before each week
- Ensuring all times for special events, major special etc. are being followed and not missed
- Plan a full day of rainy day programming, each week

Works of Art Program Directors $450-$520/Week
Position Overview
The Works of Art Program Director is responsible for the curriculum, development and execution of the Works of Art Camp. You will work alongside one counsellor when the group of campers exceeds 10 a week. This position requires someone who has a background in arts and is comfortable teaching campers different techniques such as; sculpting, painting, and working with different mediums etc.

Job Duties
General Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with camp policies, procedures, and best practices
- Following COVID protocols; social distancing between groups, masking, sanitizing etc.
- Generate excitement about being at camp, creating an enjoyable & fun experience for each camper
- Act as a positive role model
- Provide campers with moral support and encouragement
- Work cooperatively with other program staff
- Connecting with campers and operating on a daily basis with enthusiasm
- Maintain daily attendance checks, using the PK Attendance APP
- Ensuring campers who are going home early are back at the respective pick up location on time
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the Site Director
- Providing leadership & feedback to fellow counsellors, to help them grow & learn
- Provide a final evaluation for each CIT (Counsellor-In-Training) assigned to your group during the week (if assigned one)
Camper Safety & Engagement
- Report evidence of child abuse, neglect, self-harm, substance abuse, or other related issues in accordance with camp policy
- Explain buddy check procedures to campers & assign campers to buddy check a group
- Performing First Aid, when needed
- Completing incident reports & submitting them by the end of each day
- Informing your site director of major incidents ie: head injuries, bee stings, rolled/twisted ankles & wrists, camper conflicts so he/she can make a call home to inform the parent
- Administering medication to campers, when needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming, and positive camp environment at all times
- Monitor the safety of campers and address any issues relating to harassment, bullying, or discrimination
- Ensuring proper supervision is always top priority
- If swimming is a part of the program supervising during swim time, either in the water with campers or on the beach/pool deck running an activity
- If swimming is a part of the program, you are to ensure that campers who are required to wear a life jacket during swimming are indeed keeping it on while in/around the water
- Ensuring campers are applying sunscreen throughout the day & before and after swimming (when swimming is a part of the program). Campers grade 3 & up can have a buddy assist them with applying sunscreen with staff supervision. Campers Grade 2 and below should be assisted in applying sunscreen.
