Throughout the two weeks, campers will gain valuable experience, skills and discipline to help them become effective camp counsellors in the future. They will focus on; leadership building activities, effective communication, problem-solving, skill-building activities such as archery, boating, challenge course and hiking, camper characteristics and more. Campers will be assigned to help out with various camp duties, such as helping run the end of the week Major Special, bus buddies, and even being a counsellor for a half day. This program is a prerequisite for our Counsellor In Training program. Upon successful completion of LEAD campers are welcome to participate in our CIT program, an exclusive camp volunteer opportunity.
